“My advice is to try out the clubs! You have no idea how many times I have heard “I wish I got involved with *insert club* before my last year” from my fellow seniors. And please, please remember that cringe only exists if you let it exist. No honestly. As soon as you learn this, you will be free to do what you enjoy without shame or anxiety. Always think critically about any gossip or complaints you hear. Not everything going through the Vis grapevine is real so remember to step back and apply some logic before misinformation gets spread. And finally, the events at Vis can be extremely rewarding if you let them. No, you are not too cool for class meetings or decorating for Winter Week. Have fun with your grade!”

I will Poet’s Society to Julia Harms, my co-president, and Ava Kirr.

I will my title “Poetry Queen” down another generation to Grace Loonan.

I will Wheeling Pride to the class of ’25 inchworms and especially to my little sister, Elise Hansen.

I will the sticker sheet of ‘Comic Sans Bombs’ and all general shenanigans to RJ Jones.

I will STAND to the future social justice advocates.

I will my spot as “Favorite Vis Dobie” to my sister, Fiona Dobie.

And I will my semester two good luck spot on Mrs. Sutton’s couch to Mary Witkowski.

Finally, to anyone that needs it, I will a big-sister-big-hug.
