Visitation Homecoming has often been an overlooked tradition; however, this year’s homecoming was without doubt an incredibly memorable week.

The week started out as dressing up as TV show characters. Many students showed up as doctors from Grey’s Anatomy and characters from The Office. Tuesday was full of color and competitiveness. Despite the usual cheating allegations, Aurora became the 2018 Homecoming Dodgeball Champions. On Wednesday, no one had to fear because all the superheroes were here! Superman, Batman, the Incredibles – you name it! The week flew by, and it was already Thursday. Everyone wore their homecoming t-shirts as the week’s fun winded down and the excitement built up for Homecoming Sports Night. Despite the thundering skies and pouring rain, all the sports played their games on this day or Friday. The week closed out with a beautiful mass and flag raising as we stood to honor our school and country.

Homecoming week itself was great, but everyone was focused on Saturday when we would find out the 2018 Visitation Homecoming Queen. With skits performed and votes tallied, everyone went wild when Hannah Norman was named 2018 Homecoming Queen. Overall, Visflix was a huge success! From the creative costumes to the Salesian spiritually, this homecoming was one for the books.
