Don’t be afraid to say no to things that are not good for you, but also allow yourself to say yes to every opportunity you come across.

To Isabelle Geroux: Take care of Poets’ Society for me. Also, keep taking care of Sutton’s Second Homeroom for me.

To Ollie Thompson and Addie Cooper: I will you each other. Stick together, and carry on the spirit of SAIL. Ollie: I will you my parking spot (both of them) (which both happen to be further away from the door than your current spots).

To Maisie Mische: I will you all the scary power tools (and the cuts and sparks and burns and bruises that come with). You better carry on the Emily Dress Up Day without me. Thrive on.

To Anna Tessman: I will you Sutton’s stool.

To Co Lopez-Munoz: I will you Sydney’s hugs.

To Rory Jones-White: I will you Sutton’s fridge and secret stash — use it.

To Edie Weinstein and Noelle Wang: I will you all the fun of newspaper. I will you the STAND Slam Poetry Jam — keep writing, you reincarnate Shakespeares.

To Edie: I will you Sutton’s deep conversations. Take advantage of them.
