Veronica Cattanach – Iowa State University

My advice for everyone is to be present and showing up. Show up for your class, your teachers, your friends, and most impotently yourself. You can not pour from an empty glass so take care of yourself first. Another important thing to remember is that you will never regret going but you will always regret not going. So go to the school dances, go to class functions, and go to sporting events. Your presence is always noticed so be apart of your class and reach out and make as many friends as you can. The final and hardest thing I learned is high school was to drop any preconceived notions of judgments about others and you will be surprise by them.
