Opinion Statement

At Visitation, we encourage student voices and strive to create space for agency, expression and civil dialogue. Two Salesian maxims permeate our community ethos: “Non Scholae Sed Vitae” (“Not for School, but for Life”) and “Be who you are and be that well”. As a result, Vis commits to a Catholic, Salesian Education that empowers students to use their voices to explore complex issues of our time in a safe and supportive environment, while respecting the perspectives and viewpoints of all.
