Erika Brandt, Opinion Editor
This is Erika’s first year as an editor and second as a writer for The Visitation Voice. When not busy with junior year, she’s in Ms. West’s room working on her least favorite, yet most accoladed genre, poetry, or writing stories that have a tendency to turn out quite dark. Outside of school, you can find her playing doubles on the tennis court, performing a solo at a dance competition, downhill skiing, teaching herself piano, or singing “Happy Birthday,” (yes, the classic one) at the loudest volume possible. Some of Erika’s favorite books include Fahrenheit 451 and When Breath Becomes Air but she also enjoys a good cheesy rom-com. Erika is famous for her extremely strange bad luck, her gluten allergy, and her non-stop movement at any school dance. Catch her in the halls if you ever want to talk neuroscience, books, or Formula 1 racing!
