Noel Wang, Co-Executive Editor
Noel Wang is a Co-Executive Editor of the Visitation Voice. She has a passion for words and languages, studying Spanish and Chinese in school. While she writes, Noel frequently enjoys a nice hot cup of tea, and she appreciates a wide variety of genres from expository nonfiction to short stories. Her favorite poem is Kubla Khan, by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, although she also admires contemporary poets like Neil Hilborn and Joy Harjo. Noel considers both art and science to be crucial aspects of her self-expression, and she can often be found working with VISTA theatre crew or FRC Robotics programming. Other favorite activities include dancing, reading, and baking. During COVID quarantine in 2020, she cut off the last two letters of her name, wrote over 100 letters on her typewriter, and finally learned how to bake a good loaf of sourdough bread in a Dutch oven. Noel is incredibly excited for the new opportunities of the 2020-2021 school year and hopes that her efforts can inspire other people to think about the world in different ways.
