Edie Weinstein, Co-Executive Editor
Edie Weinstein happily occupies the position of co-executive editor of the Visitation Voice school newspaper. In the past year, Edie acted in CLIMB Theatre’s adaptation of the children’s book she wrote titled Grandpa and Lucy: A Story about Love and Dementia. Edie could not live without creating and story-telling; she enjoys writing short and long stories, poetry, and even school essays. When Edie isn’t writing, she can most likely be found performing or working backstage with VISTA Productions; outside of school activities, she can often be found sailing and water skiing in the brief Minnesota summers, swing dancing at Wabasha Street Caves all year round, participating in Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Critical Review program, and instructing downhill skiing with Otto Hollaus Ski School. Edie’s world also revolves around music; she listens to a mix of rock and roll, Broadway soundtracks, indie rock, and classic rock, and she always enjoys making music on the seven instruments she plays, which include the piano and trumpet. Edie is looking forward to a great senior year at Visitation School in Mendota Heights and wishes the best for every author and artist.
